The Rind Concentrate Body Balm was recommended to me by a sales associate after spotting an Aesop display at a local mall. I was excited to know that their product line was easily accessible, and that I didn’t have to order all the way from Australia…a world and a half away!
This buttery soft body balm is a treat for the senses, mind, body, and all. To describe the Rind as fresh would be an understatement – think revitalizing and awakening! The citrus-based formula has strong, crisp notes of orange rind, pink grapefruit and lemon rind. So pure, and so potent, as if Aesop bottled up the world’s most succulent groves into beautiful, amber glasses.
The scent is absolutely mesmerizing. It’s natural and captivating, without being overly sweet smelling. You would never be able to tell that some ingredients were lab generated – Aesop is the balm.
The Luxe
The Rind Concentrate Body Balm has a lush, creamy texture, that provides intense lightweight hydration. A little goes a long way to keep your dehydrated skin feeling soft and fresh for hours on end. It has a clean, non-greasy finish, yet still feels emollient to the touch as it quickly melts into the skin. I personally love to use this on my hands and find it works wonders for nail and cuticle care.
Aesop describes this moisturizing balm as suitable for all skin types, and is especially beneficial for post-sun use. They even recommend storing the body balm in the refrigerator during the summer months for enhanced benefits – how cool is that? No pun intended.
